Technical Buyer (m/f)

Location: Zagreb, Savski Marof

Job description:

Will be responsible to execute purchases for technical inventory and spare parts required to the customer’s maintenance needs.

Will be responsible to execute purchases for technical inventory and spare parts required to the customer’s maintenance needs. Will be the first point of contact to the end users and Warehouse managers to materialize enquiries into Purchase orders and deliveries.

Responsibilities and authorities:

• Interact with end customers on a regular basis
• Receive customer enquiries and understand the technical aspects
• Collect necessary technical data for sourcing
• Approach relevant suppliers to get best price
• Issue UPPRO purchase orders to suppliers based on purchase orders received from customer
• Align with customer on critical inventory levels
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Periodic report on supply base and procurement trends such as OTD (On time delivery)
• Meet performance indicators

Skills, education, or experience required:Skills:

• Technical knowledge
• Local supply base familiarity
• Purchasing & sourcing experience, can be as part of maintenance role
• Strong computer skills i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Strong bilingual communication skills (Croatian – native, English – minimum B2)
• Self-managed at customer site
• Excellent customer service approach

Education:

• High school diploma, or equivalent; Further education or certification is preferred

Experience:

• Local technical procurement
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Level (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• KPI-measured work environment
