On behalf of our client, U.P.PRO., we are seeking a qualified professional for the position of:
TECHNICAL BUYER / TECHNICAL PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (m/f)
Location: Zagreb (Črnomerec)
This is a key onsite role supporting one of our strategic customers, combining technical procurement, supplier management, inventory coordination, and day-to-day customer interaction. You will play an important part in ensuring the timely availability of equipment and spare parts that support critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users and warehouse managers regarding purchasing requests and inquiries.
- Process procurement requests and issue purchase orders based on customer requirements.
- Source technical equipment and spare parts while ensuring quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
- Coordinate with customers regarding critical inventory levels and replenishment needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and support on-time delivery targets.
- Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and operational trends.
- Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
- Experience sourcing technical equipment, industrial components, or spare parts.
- Familiarity with the local supplier market in Croatia.
- Strong sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Priority is an advantage).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
