Technical Buyer/Technical Procurement Specialist (m/f)

TECHNICAL BUYER / TECHNICAL PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (m/f)

Location: Zagreb (Črnomerec)


This is a key onsite role supporting one of our strategic customers, combining technical procurement, supplier management, inventory coordination, and day-to-day customer interaction. You will play an important part in ensuring the timely availability of equipment and spare parts that support critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users and warehouse managers regarding purchasing requests and inquiries.
  • Process procurement requests and issue purchase orders based on customer requirements.
  • Source technical equipment and spare parts while ensuring quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding critical inventory levels and replenishment needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support on-time delivery targets.
  • Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and operational trends.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
  • Experience sourcing technical equipment, industrial components, or spare parts.
  • Familiarity with the local supplier market in Croatia.
  • Strong sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Priority is an advantage).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
