On behalf of our client, Sika Croatia, which is a part of the Swiss group Sika AG – a global leader in specialty chemicals for construction and industry, we are seeking a qualified professional for the position of:
SAP Champion in Supply Chain and Finance (m/f)

Position context and the team:
This is a newly created position within Sika Croatia, established in response to a major and exciting business transformation. Up until now, they have been using the Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) system, but starting early next year, in Sika are launching the implementation of a SAP Business ByDesign ERP solution. To ensure the success of this project, we are looking for someone to step into the role of Project Leader for the system rollout.
You will join a small, highly skilled team consisting of Finance Manager, one experienced colleague, and a junior intern. You will have full support within the team, and you will report directly to the Finance Manager.
Job description:
- Lead and coordinate the implementation process of the SAP Business ByDesign ERP system across the local organization with focus on Supply Chain department
- Act as the key internal expert and primary point of contact for all matters related to the ERP implementation project
- Collaborate with external consultants, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful system deployment
- Analyze existing business processes and support their optimization and alignment within the ERP environment
- Participate in system configuration, testing, validation, and go-live activities
- Coordinate master data preparation, migration, and data quality control activities
- Support the definition and documentation of business requirements, workflows, and internal procedures
- Organize and deliver user training sessions and provide ongoing support to employees during and after implementation
- Monitor implementation timelines, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues affecting project delivery
- Ensure effective communication between departments to facilitate smooth integration of finance, sales, procurement, warehouse, and other operational processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and propose enhancements within the ERP system
- Maintain strong cooperation with management and provide regular project status updates
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous hands-on experience working with SAP Business ByDesign, preferably through participation in at least one ERP implementation project
- Strong understanding of business processes, especially in finance, accounting, procurement, sales, and logistics
- Experience in ERP implementation, process improvement, or digital transformation projects
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
