Marketing General Manager for the CEE Region (m/f)
Workplace: Zagreb
As the Marketing General Manager, you will play a key strategic role in strengthening and growing the Harvey Norman brand across Slovenia and Croatia, with the potential to expand into additional CEE markets. We are looking for a professional who understands the complexity of the CEE landscape, demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, and brings proven experience within the retail industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for managing the Harvey Norman brand and marketing communications across the CEE region
- Supporting the planning of regional marketing campaigns
- Overseeing and supporting the execution of marketing activities across the region
- Planning and analyzing advertising performance while coordinating the work of team members
- Ensuring timely delivery of all marketing initiatives
- Ensuring alignment of marketing activities with corporate strategy and guidelines
- Participating in the selection and management of external marketing vendors and partners
- Safeguarding compliance with corporate standards and brand guidelines
- Managing business correspondence
- Preparing and executing individual projects as assigned by management
- Preparing reports for senior management
- Continuously monitoring competitor marketing activities
- Performing additional tasks as instructed by supervisors
Ideal candidate profile:
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level)
- Willingness to travel weekly between Croatia and Slovenia
- Proven experience in senior marketing management roles (retail industry experience is highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of CEE market specifics
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate cross-functional teams
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and goal orientation
