On behalf of our client, eKonobar, we are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to fill the position of:
Sales Representative (m/f).
Location: Split (Split-Dalmatia County)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-time
Employment Contract: Directly with eKonobar for an indefinite period (with a 6-month probationary period)
Flexibility: Hybrid / partial remote work option available upon successful completion of the onboarding and onboarding period.
About the Company
eKonobar is a product-oriented software development company focused on creating proprietary, innovative digital solutions for the hospitality sector. Our team of software engineers and designers develops an advanced ecosystem that enables hospitality businesses to easily manage tables, orders, payments, and overall operations via a dedicated app and integrated POS devices.
Following a year of intensive development and beta testing, the product has been successfully launched on the market. Due to business expansion and growth of the sales team, we are looking for reinforcements!
Job Description
As a Sales Representative, you will be the key link between our technology solution and hospitality businesses (clients) on the ground. Your focus will be on direct communication, identifying client needs, and successfully closing sales. To excel in this role, it is essential that you feel comfortable conducting business meetings with clients face-to-face and know how to adapt your communication strategy to various types of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Active lead generation and client acquisition (restaurants, cafes, bars) through a direct, verbal approach (via phone, online, and in-person).
- Presenting the eKonobar system (app and hardware) to hospitality business owners and demonstrating the real value of our software solution.
- On-site visits for simple equipment installation (downloading the app from the Apple Store, turning on the device, and basic cable setup/configuration).
- Regular pipeline management and recording of sales activities within the Pipedrive CRM system.
What Are We Looking For? (Requirements)
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in sales. We place great emphasis on the quality of your previous work and a genuine passion for sales.
- Communication Style: Strong preference for verbal communication and face-to-face meetings. We are not looking for someone who wants to build client relationships solely over the phone.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to tailor your communication to a wide range of hospitality profiles. We are looking for an individual with a high level of resilience to rejection and the day-to-day frustrations that come with field sales.
- Education and Tech Savviness: Formal higher education and advanced technical knowledge are not required. It is important that you are comfortable using smartphones (Apple/Samsung) to successfully install the application for the client.
Advantages (Nice to have):
- Previous work experience in the hospitality industry (hospitality/HoReCa) is a major plus, as you already understand the processes and challenges that owners face daily.

- Structured Onboarding: For the first month, you will receive intensive, full-day training supported by a Senior Sales Representative (learning about the app, software features, sales techniques, and Pipedrive training). Initially, you will go out into the field accompanied by experienced colleagues until you are fully ready to work independently.
- Monthly Bonuses: A monthly bonus scheme is defined after the first 6 months, based on achieved KPIs.
