Who is authorized to hire foreigners?
Croatian employers must meet certain conditions in order to obtain a permit to employ third-country nationals. These conditions include:
- Conducting a registered business activity in Croatia,
- Filling financial obligations, including payment of income tax and mandatory insurance,
- Employing at least one permanent Croatian or EU citizen in the last 6 months (or one Croatian or EEA citizen in the previous season for seasonal trade activities),
- Maintaining a clean record, with no convictions related to employment relations and social security, and
- At least 25% of the workforce must be citizens of Croatia or a member state of the EEA.

Step 1: Initial Assessment

Step 3: Recruitment

Model 1: Recruiting candidates from their country of origin to Croatia. This includes the Client’s accreditation with regulatory authorities in jurisdictions where accreditation with Employment Agencies and/or Employers is mandatory before hiring a foreign national.
Model 2: Hiring foreign workers already in Croatia, from our large pool of workers
Step 3: Pre-employment
We tailor pre-employment procedures to the client’s preferences:
- We verify the candidates’ medical examinations in Croatia or their country of origin.
- We collect comprehensive documentation for obtaining residence and work permits.
We facilitate the procedures for obtaining residence and work permits.
We assist in the procedures for obtaining visas to enter the Republic of Croatia.
We organize travel arrangements for workers.
We help organize the accommodation of workers
Step 4: Introduction and Implementation
We ensure smooth integration and implementation:
- We provide integration education to workers.
- We handle administrative procedures after the worker’s arrival.
- We monitor during employment.
What nationalities do you offer?
Our database includes different nationalities. Typically, clients choose Filipinos for hospitality, Indians for construction, and Bangladeshis for agriculture. However, client preferences guide our recommendations for effective recruitment and retention strategies.
