Marketing Specialist (m/f) – GM-1 Role

Purpose and goal of position
- Responsible and accountable for the development, revision and implementation of the local Marketing strategy in line with the Sika Group/EMEA/AEUE strategy, including priorities and KPIs.
- Act according to Sika’s Values & Principles and the Sika Leadership Commitment (inspire – unlock potential – drive change – win together).
Main tasks
- Implementing a global market marketing strategy in cooperation with the corporate AEUE marketing department
- Participating in the development of a local marketing plan and monitoring its implementation
- Participating in the creation of a local marketing strategy
- Manage and develop promotional and technical materials and tools (brochures, flyers, articles, samples, etc.)
- Proactive communication with the media and agencies
- Creating content for the company’s PR and digital channels
- Performance and campaign analysis, optimization and lead management focusing to convert in sales
- Manage production, stock and distribution of the promotional gifts
- Contribute to new product launching, providing support to sales team and cooperate with all departments to ensure all marketing related project details and successful launching generating sales
- Market research, forecasting market developments and trends, preparing analyses and reports in cooperation with other colleagues
- Preparing content and coordinating activities related to various marketing campaigns, fairs, etc.
- Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copies.
- Events management – concept, production and event support
- Budget management – keep budget for all marketing activity plans, supervise acquisitions according to projects needs and identify best prices in the market.
- Other activities and tasks as assigned by superiors.

- Treat Health & Safety as a priority and be always a role model.
- Ensure full compliance with laws and Sika rules.
- Be an active member of the local and AEUE Marketing Team.
Requirements
Education
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or similar.
Work experience / expertise
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing department
- Work experience within international environment
Skills / competencies
- General business understanding, business acumen and result orientation.
- Digital management skills and proven experience with social media, websites, e-commerce.
- Experience with web analytics tools.
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Experience in budgeting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- English: fluent (speaking & writing) (B2-C2)
